The Orb Cycle

You awaken on an unfamiliar shore with no memory of how you arrived. Beyond it waits the Orb Chamber: six silent roads leading to six isolated realms, each guarding a fragment of an ancient mechanism—and a different account of why the worlds were divided.

The Orb Cycle is a large illustrated parser-based adventure spanning 46 areas and 280 authored locations. Explore six distinct realms, talk to characters, uncover optional testimony and lore, solve interconnected puzzles, fight authored encounters and make decisions whose consequences persist. Important situations support peaceful, investigative and combat solutions, leading to four genuinely distinct endings shaped by what you learned and chose.

Play using natural typed commands, clickable controls or speech recognition. The SUDOS player also provides fully local narration, persistent saves and illustrated exploration. Once downloaded, the adventure works completely offline.

The free download includes SUDOS 1.0, its visual World Builder, The Orb Cycle and three additional complete adventures for Windows, Linux and macOS. There are no advertisements, subscriptions, accounts, payment prompts or time limits.

SUDOS is a project of passion rather than a commercial venture. It was created to give people a detailed but approachable way to turn their own ideas into adventures that others can explore and play.
