Apparently this is an authorized sequel to a game by another author which I haven’t played. I didn’t know this going in, so had no particular expectations.
I liked the concept of this game, although some of the details were lost on me. I don’t think I ever really understood the best strategy, and I just won by brute force (for example, I never figured out what Chameleon did at all, so never made intentional use of her). Since figuring out a good strategy was essentially the main puzzle of the game, it would have been nice to have been given some kind of comparison point to evaluate the result of my strategy against (e.g. “if you do your stuff well we might get a X minute window…” so then I could compare how close I got to X minutes to see if my strategy was a good one or if there was more I could figure out.
I had to use hints for the final section because it wasn’t clear to me what I had to do. I figured out how to get into the rooms, but I assumed I was supposed to pass the thing I got there to a different character, and got stuck on that false assumption for awhile.
