About the Story

You're the editor of the Lake News, the weekly newspaper in the resort town of Ponderosa, Idaho. Subscriptions are down, and you have a mayoral election to cover to get them back up. Which candidate will you focus on? What aspects of them will you write about? With what kind of skepticism or praise? The decisions you make will affect not only your subscription numbers, but also the shape of the mayoral race itself and the future of Ponderosa.
