Spymaster of Tyria: The Thief and the Sorceress

You are John Gray, officially you're a member of the royal family of Tyrian kingdom, a patron of the arts
and artists and a diplomat, unofficially you're the spymaster of Tyria. Hiding in shadows, serving
the Kingdom and the King, your brother. Well, half-brother. About 28 years ago your father, the old king
had a lapse of conscience and had an affair with a kitchen maid in some duke's castle on a diplomatic visit.

After your brother was crowned as the king you took up the task of protecting the kingdom from the shadows.
You handle all the questionable tasks that the diplomats couldn't fix. Your most recent mission has now brought
you here, to a small tower on a sun scorched field in the middle of nowhere. The past week and a half has been
nothing but burning sun, tasteless travel rations and uncomfortable nights. The last one is mostly because Kath,
one of your thieves and your only companion for this trip, decided to combat the heat by sleeping naked with no
covers, right next to you in the only tent you two brought with you.

And now the second hardest part of the journey seems to be getting inside the tower that now stands in front of you.
