can't read news clippings or book on iPad , January 29, 2012*

love the game but there is significant bug on the Frotz/iPad version where you can't read the news clippings or the library book. The space bar bumps you out instead of moving to the next clipping. Help please! thank you.

Space isn't supposed to go to the next clipping, use N and P to go to the Next and Previous clippings.
(This works in pretty much all the menus in Inform-based games.)

The game should probably tell you this, but likely the author omitted it figuring people would be on computers with keyboards that have arrow keys (which also work), as it was written before iPads existed.

Please don't give Anchorhead a lower rating here based on an issue particular to Frotz for iOS.

I recall having issues with menus in Anchorhead (the books and clippings are all menus) using Twisty on an Android phone. I don't know whether you'll have the same issue, but I managed to see all the content by methodically opening and reopening the clipping etc., selecting menu items with the enter key.
