Fun intro to IF, April 25, 2026

The was recommended to me as an intro to IF, and I'm so glad I tried this first! It was a ton of fun, and had me rolling at Grunk's responses to some of my dumb questions. Definitely helped me learn the ropes easily, and it was very engaging. I didn't feel discouraged but it was a good challenge, and I only used a few hints at the very end to try and figure out how to leave the underground. Now I'm introducing it to my son. He wasn't sure about it at first, but now he's hooked too!
We loved this game, and recommend it 100% as an intro game to anyone getting into interactive fiction.

Just wanted to say welcome to the world of interactive fiction! If you liked Lost Pig, you might also enjoy Suveh Nux, Six, and The Lost Islands of Alabaz -- that last is one that I'd especially recommend for youngsters new to parser games (but it's fun for grown-ups, too).
