About the Story
Heed this story well, my child. As legend has it, yon castle was once a thriving community. Ere Droganya, the dreaded leader of the black demons, enslaved the townspeople's lifeforces and ensconced them within an object of mystical powers.
The task set before you is to find this object and free the lifeforces trapped within...

Long ago, the demon Lord Droganya came to capture the life force of the inhabitants of the local castle. It's your job to enter the long-abandoned place and free the imprisoned souls. Has a primitive multi-word parser, but feels like Scott Adams era anyway, largely because the output is all in capital letters. Mostly linear.

The quality of writing is mediocre, and some of the problems are difficult to solve only because of parser limitations - you can work out what to do easily enough, but how to convince the game to carry out your intentions in plain English? In a few cases this degenerates into a "guess-the-right-verb" puzzle [...]
This short and quite pleasant game would be more entertaining and less irritating if it could be saved and restored, but if you're prepared to restart from scratch on several occasions it could provide some diversion for a couple of cold winter evenings.
