I am sad that this game got dead last in ParserComp2026. I feel that it should be way higher, and thought it would have been, too, and why not when parserfolk love constraints and love constrained works on constrained machines. Anyhow. The plot is fun. The writing is bumpy and foreboding, which I liked. Most of all, the game is fettered with shackles that make you go, "How was this ever done?". Most folk are whingeing about accessibility. I had no bother switching to Qwerty mode and using my keyboard and mouse. You do have to have some forbearing to wait for new writing to walk across the screen, but this is made easy by how short and pithy the descriptions are, and how short the game is itself. And, you can press the right arrowkey to speed up the writing and 'b' to skip what you've already read. There is a hitch, at the time I write this, where the 'm' key mutes the game instead of giving 'm', which means you can't write 'examine'. A brickwall for newbies but easily overcome by only writing 'x'. Good job to Outgrabe and I hope to make a game with Tharser myself. A game thrown aside for it's oddness that I hope anyone will give a truthful shot at.
