30th Place - 9th Annual Interactive Fiction Competition (2003)

This is really a series of brief anecdotes, loosely disguised as an
interactive fiction game.
As such, I'm torn between giving it a 1 or refusing to rate it.
A parody on the RPG genre, with the set of verbs understood limited, for the player's convenience, to two commands - "slay" and "lay". You definitely should have a look at it - while it isn't really a game, the joke is great (although, judging by the results of the IF-competition, it didn't come across very well).

It's a reasonable, though wafer-thin, parody of fantasy CRPGs, and as such it's entertaining for about 60 to 90 seconds. After that, it's dull, and at no point is it any sort of interactive fiction.
