I have always preferred old school parser games, and this one hit the mark. The way humor is integrated into the puzzles and descriptions felt very reminiscent of Infocom.
As the game went on, I found myself needing to rely on hints more and more for a few reasons: one puzzle required some knowledge of Mac vs Apple II, at least two puzzles require you to try the correct action more than once, and there were a few logical leaps I was unable to make on my own. Despite that, I truly enjoyed this game.
From listening to Eaten by a Grue I suspected Carrington would write a good game, but even going in with higher expectations I was impressed!
