About the Story

Crystal Quest is a graphic adventure game I wrote back in the 80's using PAW (Professional Adventure Writer). I actually signed a contract to have it published by a company called CRL but - for reasons I'm still not sure about - it never did reach the shop shelves. It was originally called 'The Dreamland Trial' but CRL insisted I change the name for publication.

Basically, you have fallen asleep (probably from reading this!) where the sandman has trapped you in a dream world. To escape (and finish the game), you must prove to the sandman that you are a worthy adventurer by finding his three crystal treasures (a ring, a staff and an hourglass). 'Simply' return these to him and the game is complete!
