Hoarfrost Wires

Far away in the secluded snowy city of Kumanika, a mysterious plague named the “Hoarfrost Blight” spreads among its residents.

Running the only hospital in Kumanika, Doctor Sofiya Morozova and her team try their best to contain the disease. As the medical staff dwindles, Sofiya is left to treat the Hoarfrost Blight on her own.

Faced with the reality that she has little time left, Sofiya designates an abandoned android named Sonya as her caretaker and eventual mortician.

Sonya is stoic and servile. Completely calm as she watches her patient wither away in front of her.

She tries to treasure the precious moments she shares with Sofiya, as the desire for more endlessly vexes her.
