About the Story

LIMBO: Created for Locus Jam 2024. 

The software used was binksi , created by smwhr. 

Set in a not-so-distant future, you are waiting to hear back on the status of your visa application to live and work in [REDACTED] country. The government has kindly offered you a place to stay, but the catch is – you're not allowed to leave. As the anniversary of your application arrives, the waiting finally takes a toll, and things begin to unravel... 

Inspired by The Tatami Galaxy, Waiting for Godot, and The Yellow Wallpaper. 

Use WASD or arrow keys to interact with objects. Full screen advised. My first binksi game! Probably bit off a lot more than I could chew by trying to wrap my head around Bipsi AND also try to figure out Ink, but this was a very fun few days. May return to revise this at some point. Any similarities to real life are entirely coincidental.
