About the Story

Six calls reach the exchange from different years. Read each caller’s account alongside the reference records to identify who is speaking and when. Reconstruct an event order and correct a mistaken caption, then decide which messages to connect and what each connection will sacrifice.

The Midnight Exchange: The Rain Bell is a finite, single-player literary deduction game with six calls, four evidence logs, two consequential connections and four combined final accounts. The first connection changes evidence in the second circuit. Optional hints, revisable answers, decision rewind and JSON save export/import are included. There is no timer or score.

Fiction, interface and code were generated with AI and iteratively reviewed by agents. No live AI runs during play. Desktop Chrome through local HTTP was tested; direct opening of the extracted HTML file remains unverified. Mobile, other browser families and assistive technologies are not certified. All essential evidence is written text.
