About the Story

Suddenly framed for a crime you didn't commit, you're forced to abandon your plans and flee, horseless, into the forest. Seems you have no choice now but to set out to clear your name.

It's going to be a long walk.

Gameplay elements include:

-turn-based combat
-inventory system/enemy loot
-minor RPG elements
-companion NPCs whose relationships with you may change through your interactions
-non-linear story (decisions create subtle changes in story)

Added the save/load feature, minor aesthetic changes to start page, and made combat a little more balanced for rogues and warriors.

Fixed some minor, non-gameplay-affecting errors, which included a couple of typos, a small bug, and a mis-labeled spell on the equipment screen (oops).

The URL to play the game is unaffected by this update.

Currently, mirror sites appear to be throwing a 404 for attempts to reach the walkthrough in the "downloads" section. The document can still be reached at [http://www.ifarchive.org/if-archive/solutions/longwalk_walkthrough.txt] in the meantime.
