Wintertorn

This story was written for EndMaster's Prompt Contest V, with the prompt: a story about a siege.

Branislav Eisen would do anything to defend his city, but when a horde of monsters comes to lay siege, he must escape a web of witchery and ancient curses that could cost him far more than his life.

Presently this a gauntlet-style game, but there are still a number of endings and secrets to discover, and more branches will be added in the near future.

This is a grimdark tale, so don't hope for happy endings (they exist but are well hidden).

True endings will give you a score of 5 or more. Playtime is approximately one hour.
