About the Story
A fan made project set 20 years before the events of the first Mass Effect. You play as Burr Abelard, shamed N7 reject and perpetual drunkard. Your mission: To matter. Or at least, it used to be.
The arrival of a new alien species may be your ticket to shape your future. Will you redeem yourself, or will you sink further into infamy?
Travel through the dark parts of the galaxy, mingle with the planets and races that Shepard didn't. Just don't expect a hero's welcome.
I originally wrote this as a writing sample for a job application. If you happen to play and like this during my lifetime, let me know if you want to see more!
Ratings and Reviews
Fun and short Mass Effect spin-off adventure. You play as an off the rails N6 operative, doing some shady stuff on Omega. Plays out a few different ways depending on your choices and has an interesting, unexpected, ending.
The author clearly knows his Mass Effect and the interactive aspect is really well presented, with customized music, images and font for all the scenes.
Worth checking out if you're into ME or sci-fi in general.
