The defense attorney's job is to make sure the jury does not arrive at that truth." Jury nullification flips that notion on its head. In a case where jury nullification is appropriate, it is the prosecution attempting to hide the ball to keep the jurors from arriving at the moral truth of a "not guilty" verdict.
