About the Story

A soft glow illuminates a shadowy figure pacing nervously across a cramped prison cell.

It throws back the hood of its cloak, revealing an alien face of remarkable beauty. Covered with velvety maroon fur, with a mane of downy black feather, its eyes are intelligent. And fierce.

"So, you are here to play the game I presume?"

Escape is the first in a series of tutorial games meant for people who are new to writing Interactive Fiction.

Escape is essentially an IF code generator. A player who "wins" this game is rewarded with a text file of Inform 7 code they can use as the basis for a more developed game.
