I am a theatre historian interested in user experiences of mass media in the nineteenth century. I like IF because a) I spent WAY too much time reading CYOA (and various imitators) growing up, and b) it's a more democratic art form than a lot of other gaming experiences.
These days, I am particularly interested in how us academics can use IF for teaching and to present scholarship.
