The Light in the Forest

I like the quirky, Porpentine-like prose, and the cute romance between the protagonist and two side characters.

However, there are quite a few typos throughout this piece, and the ending is too sudden and understated for my liking. The worldbuilding hinted at a more fantastical climax, and there were no hints that the story was building up to a more low-key conclusion.
