When I was young, I used to write text adventures using Campbell Wild's amazing ADRIFT environment. I still do on occasion, but I have also written an adventure in C# which I am quite proud of, considering all the code was hand-made.
I enjoy playing intriguing adventure games, preferably not exceptionally difficult but ones that have a good story and well-written prose.
