This very sweet and beautiful game incorporates ASCII art and simple riddles. The mechanic is very clever, and I very much enjoyed it
This delightful game consists of some simple, quick puzzles and a heartwarming story. You play as a lonely troll who finds a mysterious object, and must discover what it is and what to do with it. Full of beautiful ASCII art, this game is a great introduction to IF.
The less you know about this game going into it, the better. However, I will say that the atmosphere created by the game surpassed my expectations. While I would take the warning in the author's note at the beginning of the game seriously, this is an incredible game with a unique and well executed command set and a compelling story line.
I really enjoyed Guilded Youth, it was a super fun quick play. The graphics really enhanced the experience, rather than being distracting as they often are in IF games. It's definitely a game I would play again to see if I could find a different ending.
This was one of the first IF games I ever played and my favorite one to date. The story is compelling, the puzzles are fun, and the world is complex enough that I'm still thinking about the game almost a month after playing it. It's definitely one that I'll play more than once, as well as one that I recommend to people to get them into IF.
A super fun and quick game with a really creative magic system. I did have to use the hint system once, but other than that the puzzles were doable. Very impressive for a speed-IF game.
