About the Story

This is a small, and to be honest, not very great text game that I created as a way to learn Python. It's played entirely from a command window, no graphics of any kind because that would have likely meant completely rewriting the code. Ain't nobody got time for that.

The story is pretty simple, you're a disgruntled contract worker living with 2 roommates. The first section of the game is, in my mind, a bit weaker than the second one. It deals with mental illness primarily, which I definitely could have handled better and might still go back and rewrite soon TM.

The second section involves you visiting an event and possibly becoming a bit closer to a character you met in the first section.

All I can say is don't go into this game expecting anything that great. Creative writing isn't really my thing but I wanted to take a stab at it with this project. Can't get better if you don't practice right?

And I released it because, I don't know, it just seems cool. Makes me feel like I wasn't just wasting all this time writing crap code for nobody too see it. I guess you could say it gave a sense of pride and accomplishment. Hopefully this isn't too off-topic. I feel like being the author might give me a bit more flexibility. Anyway, hopefully I don't waste your time and you can find some enjoyment from 'playing' this game.
