About the Story
You've been locked in a padded cell for no obvious reason with only a deranged hamburger-eating clown for company. The cell doesn't even have a door. So begins an adventure that will take you to many places including custard-filled caverns, the world's worst Indian restaurant, the planet Venus, and the inside of a cereal packet. Can YOU escape from the Crazy Place?
Escape From the Crazy Place is a collaborative work that I initiated when I was just 13 years old. A huge, rambling CYOA game that includes the writing and illustrations of more than thirty friends and relatives, many of whom were sophomore students at the time. Its only point is to be completely pointless. The game contains a high level of silliness, and should therefore be avoided by people named Mike Harris.
